⚠️ Preparing for the technician's visit
Before work begins, be sure to inform the technician of the following:
Hidden utilities: the location of electrical wiring, fuse boxes, sockets, as well as water and sewer pipes.
Connection points: the location of the connection to the mains and the planned drainage outlet.
Important: Powerful drilling equipment is used during installation. If the customer has not warned about hidden networks in the walls, the responsibility for their accidental damage and restoration lies with the customer.

Suitable for most typical properties. Includes basic work and materials:
Installation of units: Internal (height up to 2.5 m) and external (on the façade, balcony or roof).
Utilities: Laying of up to 3 metres of piping (insulated copper pipes, cable, drainage).
Commissioning: Vacuuming the system (removing moisture), starting the refrigerant and testing the modes.
Materials: Brackets, fasteners and protective box (up to 3 m).

❄️ Air conditioning and climate

1. How often should air conditioning be serviced? For home systems, we recommend servicing once a year (before the start of the season). For offices and shops, twice a year. This prevents compressor failure and unpleasant odours.
 2. Why has my air conditioner started leaking into the room? Most often, this is due to a clogged drain pipe or icing of the evaporator due to a lack of freon. We recommend turning off the unit and calling our technician for cleaning or refilling.
 3. What is an inverter air conditioner and is it worth paying extra for? An inverter smoothly regulates power, operates more quietly and consumes 30-40% less energy. In the long term, this is a profitable investment in Spain due to savings on electricity bills.
4. Can the outdoor unit be installed on the sunny side? Yes, but this reduces the efficiency of the system. If there is no other place, we select more powerful equipment that is resistant to high temperatures.
 

🔥 Aerothermal energy, heating, hot water supply.

 5. What is aerothermal energy and why is it popular in Spain? It is an air-to-water heat pump that draws energy from the air for heating, cooling and water heating. It is the most economical system: for every 1 kW of electricity, you get up to 4-5 kW of heat.
 6. Can aerothermal energy be connected to old radiators? Yes, there are high-temperature heat pumps, but maximum efficiency is achieved when used with water underfloor heating.
7. Which heating is better: radiators or water underfloor heating? Underfloor heating is more comfortable and economical (it operates at low temperatures), but radiators heat the room faster and are easier to install in already renovated homes.
8. Should water be drained from the heating system for the summer? No, this is harmful to pipes and radiators as it causes corrosion. The system should remain filled under pressure.

🌀 Ventilation and heat recovery

9. Why do you need an air recuperator? A recuperator removes stale air from the house and supplies fresh air, while retaining heat (or coolness) inside. This prevents mould and stuffiness without opening windows.
10. Can a ventilation system be installed in an already finished flat? Yes, there are compact wall-mounted recuperators (breezers) that require only one hole in the wall and do not need air ducts to be installed.
11. How often do the filters in the ventilation system need to be changed? On average, every 6 months. In cities with high dust levels, more often.
 

⚡ Electrical installation work

12. Will my wiring withstand the installation of a powerful air conditioner? Our technician always checks the cable cross-section and the rating of the circuit breakers. If necessary, we lay a separate line from the switchboard for the safety of your home.
13. Why does the circuit breaker often trip when I turn on the air conditioning? The cause may be network overload, a faulty start capacitor, or a current leak. We diagnose and eliminate the cause.
14. Do you install surge protection? Yes, we recommend installing a voltage relay or RCD to protect the expensive electronics of air conditioners and heat pumps from power surges.

💧 Plumbing and water supply

15. What should the pressure be in the domestic water supply system? The norm is considered to be 2.5–4 bar. If the pressure is higher, we recommend installing a pressure reducer to protect taps and appliances.
16. Why does the water from the tap have an unpleasant smell? This may be due to stagnant water in the boiler or anode wear. The tank needs to be sanitised or the filters replaced.
17. Do you install water purification systems? Yes, we install reverse osmosis systems for drinking water and softeners that protect appliances from limescale.

18. Do you work under an official contract? Yes, Alto Servicio always signs a contract for installation and maintenance, which is your legal protection and quality guarantee.
19. How quickly can you come to the site for an assessment? We usually visit within 24–48 hours of receiving a request. An express assessment based on photos and videos sent via WhatsApp is also possible.
20. Do you provide a warranty for your work? We provide an official warranty for installation work and the consumables we use. The warranty period depends on the type of service and is specified in the work report.
